Suzie Q Studio Shipping Update

With the onset of the Canada Post STRIKE on September 25th, orders shipping within Canada and the rest of the world will now be shipped via PUROLATOR. We hope to see an end to the strike soon so that we can resume using Canada Post!

For U.S. orders, as of August 22, Suzie Q Studio will be pausing all shipments to the U.S. Please read below for more information.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR SUZIE Q CUSTOMERS IN THE USA

Starting 08/22/25, Suzie Q Studio is PAUSING shipping to the USA from my online Canadian Beady Boutique.

As of August 29th, the US government is removing the "de minimus" exemption of $800 on goods coming into the USA. This means that all orders, no matter the value, may now be charged import taxes/tariffs, as well as fees when they arrive in the USA, with all extra charges to be paid by the recipient.

These fees could be quite high, and the last thing I want is for anyone to be surprised by these extra costs!

Also, if a parcel is refused at the border, I not only have to pay to have it shipped back, but I also lose what I already spent to send it to you in the first place. For a small shop like mine, I can't afford to absorb these costs.

Sadly, I’ll be pausing US shipping from my online shop on August 22, while I figure out the best way forward.

This change is a huge blow to my business. And due to the majority of the items available on the Suzie Q website being ultra-limited in quantities or one-of-a-kind, I realize that this dramatic turn of events may cause some frustration and/or FOMO, not being able to order that “must have” object of your affections. I apologize profusely, but of course, this circumstance is beyond my control.

Your support of my biz means the absolute world to me, and I’m looking forward to the day I can resume shipping precious pretties to my Suzie Q friends in the US once again… Crossing my fingers for a change or a solution ASAP.
