A giant "Thank You" to all who participated in our Make 'N' Take, "A Charming Impression", last Saturday!
A lot of "Charming" pieces were created and Good Creative Fun was had by all, including eight year old Miss Lily, who created a zipper-pull for herself and her best friend. Lily's Mom tagged along to help out, and she made a wonderful heart-inspired piece to hang on her purse.
As well, Tia, who hails from the Vulcan, AB area, brought her two delightful young sons along to create purse charms for their Grandmother… how incredibly sweet is that?! Tia's eldest son may have caught a bit of "jewellery-making-fever" because he even made a very debonair zipper-pull for himself :-D
It's always such an amazing thing to see the diverse uniqueness in every project that's created in our Make 'N' Takes. See for yourself in this M&T Project Gallery.
This Saturday's Make & Take is our most requested one, so "back-by-popular-demand", it's Suzie Q's FOEB (Fear Of Elastic Breaking) M&T, SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 12PM-3PM. In this class, you'll learn how to make a SECURE, stretchy elastic bracelet that you "roll-on", and looks fab when you wear multiples layered up on your wrist.
At our FOEB Make & Take, you'll receive 50% OFF your ENTIRE jewellery-making supply purchase --- a great opportunity to stock up on all kinds of beady-treasures: bead strands, pearls, tools, clasps, etc. --- as well as get FREE instruction/design consulting!
This M&T is open to ALL SKILL LEVELS and there's no need to pre-register. Just drop by The Q anytime between 12PM-3PM, but please remember to leave enough time to complete your project(s) before the end time of 3PM.
Also, you're more than welcome to bring your friends and family members! (FYI… with children under 12, they must be accompanied by an adult, with the adult prepared to do most of the "helping", in order for the instructor to have time to teach all who attend.)
We hope to see you this Saturday for some Good Creative Fun!
